The publisher of these books (with the exception of: Suvaca in Kikinda – The Mill of the Plains) is the Historical Archive of Kikinda. It was founded in 1946 as a part of the town's museum, and has been independent institution since 1956. In addition to basic services (collection, processing and storage of professional archival materials from 1747.) it publishes material, which is related to research in various fields of life and work, in the area of northern Banat. The Historical Archive of Kikinda has collaborated successfully with architect Biserka Ilijasev for several years. It recognizes the importance and value of her research in the field of urban development and architecture in Kikinda - for the city, northern Banat, Vojvodina and Serbia. Three projects have been successfully completed, presented in the books of this author.
The fourth book is in preparation for printing, titled Villas and Palaces in Kikinda, which along with three previous books, represents a comprehensive (history of?) urban and architectural development of Kikinda in the late 19th and early 20th century in its entirety. That effort of the Historical Archive in Kikinda is noteworthy, as noted by Vladimir Mitrovic (Art Historian at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism, Museum of Contemporary Art, Vojvodina, Novi Sad) in the book review in thematic issue of magazine Attendite: "We should certainly mention Historical Archive of Kikinda, by now already a regular publisher of books by this author, which - in addition to its basic archival activities - found interests, strength and opportunity to accompany the turbulent searching spirit of architect Biserka Ilijašev, this usually not being the case in our publishing practice. "
The permanent team that participated in the pre-press and printing should also be mentioned:
Dragomir Tomin, Director of the Historical Archive of Kikinda,
Mila Melank, Graphic Designer and Technical Editor,
Milos Paovic, Editor and
"Garmond“, Printing, Novo Miloševo.
Selfless and inspiring work of this team contributed to the overall high quality of the published books which present Kikinda as an important part of urban and architectural development of cities in Serbia.
